One more week to go, before Finnish melodic death metal masters INSOMNIUM finally release their new album “Heart Like A Grave”. To shorten the waiting time you can now listen to “Pale Morning Star”, which comes with a lyric video, perfectly capturing the stunning impressions of the beauty of Finnish nature and melancholic atmosphere. Watch the video here: https://youtu.be/rJ89F9xoG08

”Pale Morning Star was born as a short folky acoustic piece of mine – before it grew and exploded all over the place. I call this piece a miniature version of ”Winters Gate” as it contains a somehow similar wintry and grim feel of that opus, supercharged to only 9 minutes. It’s presenting again a bit different side of the new album.” comments Markus Vanhala.

Check also the previously released official videos for the singles:

“Valediction” here: https://youtu.be/_ZLguQ-8w3M

and “Heart Like A Grave” here: https://youtu.be/Xy5KAHD2uak

The videos were shot by Vesa Ranta and Aapo Lahtela at Kaira Films, who filmed two videos in the same session with the band in the beginning of summer. Both videos belong together, telling one story.

“Heart Like a Grave” is available as

  • Deluxe 2CD Artbook,
  • Standard CD Jewelcase
  • Gatefold 2LP + CD (various colours)
